A different aspect of future doctors!!!
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I have always been made fun of by my buddies who are studying in MBA or Engineering universities. I am a medical student in Dow medical college. They always say that medical students are boring. They live in a shell of their own. They have no creativity. They are serious souls and so on... I am sure many of you out there have a similar opinion. Even I used to have such views but then here you go mates.... the Farewell week of the final year medical students at Dow medical college!!! As always the trend has been each day they had a different theme on each day of the week... starting with the Red And Black Color Day which was the most decent of all they went on to have the CULTURAL DAY, the CRAZY Day, the OCCUPATIONAL Day and the FILAMZIA...

Now now... the Crazy day... dudes, these future docs go really crazy out there with some great ideas.... the best of all the “Lyari grp”... acting like true “Mawallis” raising the slogans in favour of obama, their kid... lol... all four of them black faces, (maybe they used Cheery Blossom shoe polish), dirty, curly wigs and fluorescent purple orange clothes... O man, they had to shout their real identities to prove themselves medical students... anyone hardly recognized them...

“the red Indians”.... cool looking gals, who spent great time and money to design their dresses..... and the caps... I loved those... made of ice cream sticks and feathers.... (don’t they have to study Davidsons?)

“Arabian family”....an Arabian with his four wives... all pregnant!!!! (ps... the wifes were originally final year guys who wore a long frock and used something to protrude their bellies) this was one of the very new ideas, gutsy though.... it may be difficult for non medical people to digest this.... ;)

and then the drama with the Pregnant wives having a couple photograph with the Lyari men.... ditching their sole husband!!!!

There were many more like the “Terrorist group” with the guns... and all black dresses.. with the black ‘pagri’... and very natural looking moles on their faces.... Ooops... they were trying to scare away ppl... but it sounded more funny than they wd hav wanted to....

How can I forget the “Two Faces,” guys wearing “saarhis” and clapping like weirdoos....

The Beggars....they fell to my feet to beg...i had to pick up my things and go somewhere else to sit... they were really very ‘Chipkoo’.. my frnd even paid them to get rid of them....

O man.... it was all real entertainment for anyone who would have been there... everyone had bunked their classes to enjoy these psychopaths.... the college premises was more like a Circus ground.... if anyone from outside would have come, he wouldn’t have believed that these people are going to be MBBS doctors in the next 3 months....Gosh.... it was awesome....
Inspite of all this “hangama” I assure you that these people are going to be really nice doctors in future.... a doctor doesn’t necessarily have to be serious and have a grave look on his face... they have the right to go “out of their shell!”

So all those out there, if you think medical students are boring nerds, go back and rethink...
We can have more creativity with little resources than any one of our age can!!!!
We Rock...........

Take care.....

A much needed break...
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Ever wondered what would a pessimist sound like if he tries to write something funny.... well you are here at the right place... have fun
This being my first blog and guess what... I took out time for this stupid thing while I was studying Pathology... I put my book aside, switched on my PC and connected to my awesome dialup internet connection... 16.2kbps Coool na! opened Internet explorer and a widow popped up “Internet Connection, Redialing.” O man I love my cybernet!
I am a nerdoooooo.... thats what my friends tell me.. but im not! I do a lot of stuff which my friends don’t do, like wasting my time on TIG.... ““Internet Connection, Redialing.” Don’t be pissed of dude, this is the typical internet connection of a telephone line laid down in 1974! And its still working. Nice!
Anyways, I have my exams next month and I promised myself not to waste my time but then... I was studying, or lets say trying to study when a senior of mine messaged me a joke... it wasn’t really a joke, and I called it an idiotic message and Gosh!!!! What did I get as a reply “ULLO KI PATHEEE, what do know about a sense of Humor!” and I was all stunned as well as Lol.... ““Internet Connection, Redialing.” And then here I am... taking a much needed break from my studies... on my PC, online via a 1974 laid down telephone line... and still able to post a blog... now thats an achievement! So for the rest of the day I decided to do everything I can except for studying.... as that seniors reply was really true.... and now lets see... for how long can I stay away from my books!!!! For now, I am going for my prayers... and for all those out there who are nerds take this message from a psychopath that YOU NEED A BREAK DUDE.... always remember, there is a difference between a nerd and an ambitious person.... first decide who you want to be..... I am enjoying my much needed break today... but I don’t want to get used to it much.... so byeeee.... have fun...
